Cancellation Policy

PAYMENT TERMS 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure your session Remaining 50% due on or before session day Accepted payments: Cash, Card, Afterpay, Klarna (subject to approval) Photos released after full payment received CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY Cancellations: Client forfeits their non-refundable session retainer (50% of total session price) paid to book the session. The fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules. Emergency situations handled case-by-case. Rescheduling: We only allow one reschedule with 48-hour notice. The non-refundable deposit will be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules. Additional reschedules may incur a $25 fee. No-Show Policy: If you miss your scheduled session without notice, the 50% deposit is forfeited. No refund will be issued for no-shows. This includes being more than 15 minutes late without communication. Weather Cancellations: Outdoor sessions affected by severe weather will be rescheduled at no charge. We value your time and ours. SESSION DETAILS Session length as specified in your package Number of professionally edited photos per package Digital gallery delivery Photo Delivery: Digital packages delivered within 7 calendar days. Print packages delivered within 14 calendar days. All photos delivered via secure online gallery. Client Responsibilities: Arrive on time. Bring discussed props/outfits. Pet sessions: vaccination records and leash/voice control. Communicate special needs in advance. USAGE RIGHTS Client receives full personal use rights. Print release included. Mitchell Marie Photography may use photos for portfolio, website, social media, and promotions. Notify us before session if you prefer privacy. LIABILITY If Mitchell Marie Photography cannot perform due to fire, casualty, strike, act of God, other uncontrollable causes, illness, or emergency, retainer returned but no further liability. Applies if materials damaged in processing, lost through equipment malfunction, or otherwise lost without photographer fault. Client responsible for participant behavior/safety. Pet owners responsible for pet behavior/property damage. SPECIAL POLICIES Pets: vaccination records required, must be controlled, sessions may end if aggressive.
